1969
Giuseppe Barni starts production in the steel sector.
1990
In 1990, Barni becomes Officine Meccaniche Barni Srl and becomes a partner of one of the most renowned producers of Italian lines, producing both lines as well as individual machinery.
2004
The technical department is implemented.
The area of production is increased to 4,000 square meters.
2009
The company begins to present itself in international markets.
2012
A second production unit is activated at the site in Morbegno and the total area of production reaches 6,500 square meters.
Barni acquires an important mechanical engineering and development company with 35 years of international market of steel and iron plants and machinery.
2014
A third production unit starts operating at the Morbegno site for a total of 10,000 square metres.
2015
L’azienda raggiunge la maturità societaria e diventa “Officine Meccaniche Barni Spa”.

The company reaches corporate maturity and becomes “Officine Meccaniche Barni Spa”.
